We created this dress together with Aaysha.

Aaysha is one of the women from Katthiwada village in Madhya Pradesh, where we were living and working together this winter of 2019. We were sharing the knowledge with local women, connecting, laughing, and co-creating this beautiful collection.

Aaysha and her mom Ruksana both love to sew and craft. The relationship between them is just incredible, they are always laughing and holding hand. Aaysha definitely has a passion for sewing. She shared her dream with us. She wants to learn as much as she can so she can open her own learning center for women and teach them tailroring skills. Wonderful wish! We are 100% with you on that Aaysha!

Aaysha used sewing machine for hemming and side seams, and she hand-stitched the neckline of the dress.

Size: One size

Overal Length: 48 in.
Overal Width: 44 in.

Material: This is the original sari fabric: printed silk/polyester blend.

Amazing flowing design of this dress with the emphasized borders/sleeves gives it a beautiful bohemian and airy feel.

We hand-make all the garments with love and care and we want them to bring you joy as long as possible! Please hand-wash this item. It's light and easy to hand-wash and to hang to dry.

glorka is a cruelty-free & sweat-shop free ethical production.

This dress is a part of the project glorka and Ammachi Labs have been working together since 2018, empowering women to become more independent, self-reliant and simply happier...

Ammachi Labs is a part of humanitarian organization 'Embracing The World' founded by Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi. Ammachi Labs have been offering training programs to local women from various rural villages around India for many years now. The work they do is just incredible.

In 2018 we partnered up with Ammachi Labs, and together we have been coming to the villages to teach women how to make clothes. After spending some time on learning and practicing we then co-create collections of beautiful bohemian dresses. This year's collection is called 'Bohemian India'.
