It is a gift to live in a woman's body.
It is a vessel with its own intelligence that is guiding this life experience.
Body knows, often in advance, of what life is about to unfold. Body feels life to the depth of its core. It communicates more than any tongue language is able to express. It carries and gives birth to all life and to the life of a new living being. The body feels, alchemizes, and emits the love of Mother Earth.
*** We made this dress together with Kusumna.
She is one of the village women with whom we were living and working together this year in India.
Kusumna didn't know that she has such a talent for sewing until this project started. In just a few days we all discovered that the quality she sews and the dedication are just so superb that she became our number one student in the group. She is quiet and shy and doesn't waste time goofing around and chatting. She is very serious about becoming a great seamstress and tailor and once she has enough money - she will buy a sewing machine.

glorka is a cruelty-free & sweat-shop free ethical production.
This dress is a part of the project glorka and Ammachi Labs have been working together since 2018, empowering women to become more independent, self-reliant, and simply happier...
Ammachi Labs is a part of the humanitarian organization 'Embracing The World' founded by Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi. Ammachi Labs have been offering training programs to local women from various rural villages around India for many years now. The work they do is just incredible.
In 2018 we partnered up with Ammachi Labs, and together we have been coming to the villages to teach women how to make clothes. After spending some time on learning and practicing we then co-create collections of beautiful bohemian dresses. This year's collection is called 'Bohemian India'.
