These jogger pants are handmade from 100% cotton hand block printed with natural dyes, and are as comfy as ever!
The pants have a slight dropcrotch design, not so low as the original glorkas, yet loose enough to enjoy lounging around as well as working out and working at home.
Perfect work leisure attire! Perfect meditation pants and perfect snuggle pair!
This piece is special to us because this 100% cotton fabric was hand-block printed with the natural dyes by the amazing local women from Bagru Village near Jaipur, India.
Also, this is our second original unique glorka print!
We call it Equinox and we are making caftans and kimonos using the same print.
Each time we order this print on fabric - the local women from the village receive fair wages and support from our friends at Studio Bagru. Together we are aiming to uplift the local communities and strive to preserve the handblock tradition that is more than 400 years old!
So much love for the soft fabrics, smells of nature, and warmth of the fall.
In this times of a fall Equinox may we honor the cycles of nature.
May we rest, may we nourish, may we keep pouring unconditional love to our sacred body temple, activating every cell of life.
STYLING TIP: Pull them up to the knees, adjust the length you want, add the boots - and rock them at any festival! Try them with sandals or bare foot - and, hey, it’s your go-to yoga/sound bath/meditation outfit!
-Unisex -Stretch -Flowing relaxed fit -Inner drawstring to secure the waist -2 side pockets
Gentle cycle cold/warm machine wash and low temperature dryer are OK. We hand-make all garments with love and care and we want them to bring you joy as long as possible! This is why we always recommend hand washing and drying flat to preserve the item to last longer. Please avoid hot dryers!
WE ARE ETHICAL PRODUCTION
glorka wear is handmade, ethical and sweat-shop free production. We work with 2 seamstresses from New York and Los Angeles. We are very proud to work with this great team full of passion for sewing and crafting. To reduce textile waste and make our planet greener we strive to up-cycle (use discarded or vintage fabrics that would end up in a waste otherwise) and eco-friendly natural fabrics and blends that will decompose with time.
We are still in the process of moving towards sustainability and we still cary a number of products made from contemporary synthetic fabrics. With every new step we will be updating our inventory towards compostable, natural and up cycled materials. You can always inquire about each of the fabrics we use for our designs. Send us convo at any time!
