This is a very special piece to us. It was handmade by one of the local women from Katthiwada village as a part of our humanitarian project on empowering women from rural villages in India. We taught the group of local women this simple caftan design and together we created an incredible collections of dresses.
The fabric in turn is hand block-printed by one of the local women from Bagru village near Jaipur as a part of another empowering project organized by the company IM.Printed.
We got so lucky to find this company as they are working with local women in villages near Jaipur to preserve the block-printing tradition that is 400 years old! And this time the fabric they used is 100% organic cotton, and the prints are all made with natural dyes.
Size: One size
Overal Length: 48 in. Overal Width: 44 in.
Material: hand block-printed organic cotton, naturally dyed.
Care: We hand-make all the garments with love and care and we want them to bring you joy as long as possible! Please hand-wash this item. It's light and easy to hand-wash and to hang to dry.

This dress is a part of the project glorka and Ammachi Labs have been working together since 2018, empowering women to become more independent, self-reliant and simply happier...
Ammachi Labs is a part of humanitarian organization 'Embracing The World' founded by Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi. Ammachi Labs have been offering training programs to local women from various rural villages around India for many years now. The work they do is just incredible.
In 2018 we partnered up with Ammachi Labs, and together we have been coming to the villages to teach women how to make clothes. After spending some time on learning and practicing we then co-create collections of beautiful bohemian dresses. This year's collection is called 'Bohemian India'.
