Gorgeous ethnic poncho handmade from a cotton blend fabric we bought in Costa Rica and a 100% cotton threaded embroidery handwoven by the indigenous women of Kuna Yala, Panama.
This is a special piece to us. It is a part of the women empowerment project we started a few years ago. This particular dress is a co-creation of women sharing their knowledge. Molas are from Kuna Tribe in Panama, main fabric is from Costa Rica and the pieces was handmade on the island of Boricua (Puerto Rico)
This piece is one of the kind.
With this project we want to support local women in the places around the world where they could use some help. We want to preserve traditional art of hand-stitching and co-weaving magic in the circles of women, and we hope to create more pieces like this.
This piece is one size fits all.
Sides are open - so you can wear it as a long elegant poncho or a ritual robe.
We hope it will serve you as a beautiful intentional attire for your gatherings, personal practice, ceremony journeys, music, dance or simple comfort of life.
