Burgundy floral print created with the wooden blocks and hand dyed on a 100% cotton. This caftan dress was lovingly handmade by the women from rural village  India as a part of our Women Empowerment Project.

The women who made this dress live in the place with zero access for education or any career opportunities. They also do not experience much appreciation or acknowledgment from their families and loved ones.

This is why we traveled to them to share our knowledge, give them love and appreciation and support them financially.

This kaftan is a beautiful flowing creation and will be a great addition to any Bohemian wardrobe.

Size: One size. We created similar dresses from the same sarees. You can choose the one that feels more like you from the photos..

Overal Length: 46 in.
Overal Width: 44 in.

Material: hand-block printed 100% cotton.

Care:
We hand-make all the garments with love and care and we want them to bring you joy as long as possible! Please hand-wash this item. It's light and easy to hand-wash and to hang to dry.

glorka is a cruelty-free & sweat-shop free ethical production.

This dress is a part of the project glorka and Ammachi Labs have been working together since 2018, empowering women to become more independent, self-reliant and simply happier...

Ammachi Labs is a part of humanitarian organization 'Embracing The World' founded by Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi. Ammachi Labs have been offering training programs to local women from various rural villages around India for many years now. The work they do is just incredible.

In 2018 we partnered up with Ammachi Labs, and together we have been coming to the villages to teach women how to make clothes. After spending some time on learning and practicing we then co-create collections of beautiful bohemian dresses and kaftans. This year's collection is called 'Bohemian India'.
