Black and Gold. Always go so well together... This piece was handmade by the incredible being. Her name is Rameella. She lost her mother when she was young, and her father and new step-mother were not really treating her well, so she moved to a neighborhood village to live in a smallest room with 2 more girls, sleep on the floor and share the space the best they could... She never lost the positive spirit and vibe though! She’s always smiling, singing, and goofing around, she is also extremely caring, and she is a very loving being always ready to help. She loves children and children love her as well. She has the best smile and Im so honored...
Learning new stitches together, laughing and sharing good moments- this is a true co-creation, sacred, beautiful, and uplifting... I cannot express with words how grateful I am to be able to spend time with these wonderful women and share knowledge with them and create beautiful pieces together. Even language stops being an issue when you sit down to craft. There is always a way to show, illustrate and explain with gestures, as long as desire is there- everything is possible.
